Alcon Research Institute Awards honor outstanding contributors to ophthalmic research through unrestricted grants and biennial symposia. Recipients of these awards become members (alumni) of the Alcon Research Institute. 2015 ARI Annual Awards Symposium: In collaboration with Harvard Ophthalmology and Mass. Eye and Ear, the Alcon Research Institute held its 2015 Annual Awards Symposium on September 18th and 19th, 2015, at Mass. Eye and Ear’s Starr Center. The scientific program celebrated ARI award winners and ARI Young Investigator awardees from 2013, 2014, and 2015, who shared recent discoveries resulting from their research. The program included sessions on cornea; retina, genetics, and gene therapy; glaucoma and genetics; inflammation and infection; diabetic retinopathy and neuro-visual processing; and optics. Learn more about the 2015 ARI Annual Awards Symposium...

2013 ARI Awards Symposium: On March 7, 2013, Harvard Ophthalmology hosted an evening reception at Mass. Eye and Ear for members of the Alcon Research Institute, who were in Boston attending the biennial symposium. The meeting, normally held at Alcon’s Ft.
