Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of a standard medical school curriculum.
- United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) certificates are required for graduates of foreign medical schools.
Submit Application
Harvard Ophthalmology/Mass Eye and Ear participates in the Ophthalmology Residency Matching Program (OMP) through the San Francisco Match Central Application Service (CAS).

Interviews
Invitations for interviews are expected to go out in early November 2023. The dates for interviews are:
- Monday December 11, 2023
- Thursday December 14, 2023
- Tuesday December 19, 2023
An in-person Open House event for those who are invited to interview is planned for Friday January 19, 2024.
