Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course participants will be able to: (1) Recognize how understanding ophthalmic disease at a molecular level will guide new therapies, (2) Discuss therapeutic advances and new treatment paradigms in areas outside the scope of their own practice, (3) Describe advances in the diagnosis of ophthalmic disease, and (4) Discuss new innovations in the understanding and treatment of ophthalmic disease.
