#  Mass Eye and Ear Participates in FFB Vision Walk

On October 11, ten faculty and staff from Mass Eye and Ear—along with their families—participated in the Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB) Boston Vision Walk.

The event provided a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the foundation's origins at Mass Eye and Ear more than 50 years ago and to celebrate our ongoing partnership. Since 1974, FFB has been a steadfast supporter of Mass Eye and Ear/Harvard Ophthalmology. Their generosity was instrumental in establishing the William F. Chatlos Professorship of Ophthalmology and creating the Berman-Gund Laboratory—the first laboratory dedicated to studying inherited retinal diseases.
