#  AAPOS 2026 Annual Meeting

Harvard Ophthalmology was well-represented at the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS) annual meeting, held in Boston last month. [David Hunter, MD, PhD](/davidhunter "David G. Hunter, MD, PhD"), in his capacity of President of AAPOS, helped to plan and host the meeting. Several other Boston Children's Hospital and Mass Eye and Ear faculty members participated, including [Linda Dagi, MD](/lindadagi "Linda R. VanderVeen, MD"); [Eric Gaier, MD, PhD](/ericgaier "Eric Gaier, MD, PhD"); [Ryan Gise, MD](/people/ryan-gise-md "Ryan Gise, MD"); [Gena Heidary, MD, PhD](/genaheidary "Gena Heidary, MD, PhD"); [Efren Gonzalez, MD](/efrengonzalez "Efrén  González, MD"); [Ankoor Shah, MD, PhD](/ankoorshah "Ankoor S. We're also incredibly proud of our trainees, with nearly 20 residents and fellows from across the department presenting research posters.
