[Camille André, PhD, PharmD](https://connects.catalyst.harvard.edu/Profiles/display/Person/218589), Instructor in Ophthalmology at HMS, won the Boston Innovate2Impact Pitch Competition for her clinical infectious disease research. With $50,000 in funding, Dr. André and her team will advance her project focused on developing prophylactic eye drops that target glycocalyx-mediated bacterial adhesion—an innovative approach to preventing blindness caused by severe ocular infections.
