 The blinq™ vision scanner, a diagnostic tool for amblyopia that was created by Boston Children's Hospital Ophthalmologist-in-Chief [David G. Hunter, MD, PhD](/davidhunter), received an Honorable Mention in *Fast Company's* 2020 World Changing Ideas Awards competition. Performing a 2-second blinq™ vision scan during pediatric primary care well visits or through public screenings enables children most in need to receive timely treatment for amblyopia and avoid life-altering consequences.
