Deborah K. VanderVeen, MD](/deborahvanderveen), Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School and a clinician scientist at Boston Children's Hospital, has been elected to the prestigious American Ophthalmological Society for her distinguished contributions to the field, particularly her work in pediatric cataract treatment and retinopathy of prematurity.
