 **Lisa Cowan's, MD, PhD,** paper, "Introducing a new surgical technology: Controversies in femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery and impact on resident surgical training," published in the Fall 2015 issue of *International Ophthalmology Clinics*, was one of the top 10 articles read in 2015 in ophthalmology. These statistics were published by Medscape. Lisa is an HMS Ophthalmology resident.

 **[Louis Pasquale, MD](/louispasquale)****,** gave the 39th Annual Edmund B. Spaeth Oration at the Philadelphia College of Physicians on January 14th, 2016. His lecture was titled, "Meet patients XX AND XY: Products of their genes and environment."

 **[Lucia Sobrin, MD, PhD](/luciasobrin),** began serving as Chair of the Genetic Committee for the DRCR.net in 2015.
