#  Ines Lains, MD, PhD, Wins Best Presentation Award

Ines Lains, MD, PhD, a PGY-4 ophthalmology resident, received the Metabolomics Society Best Presentation Award for her top-scoring oral abstract, “Plasma metabolomic profiles of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) progression." This work contributes to our understanding of AMD progression and may ultimately help us identify potential disease biomarkers.
