James Harris, MD, a PGY-2 ophthalmology resident, and Jonathan Lin, MD, PhD, a PGY-3 ophthalmology resident, are the 2022 recipients of the Gragoudas-Folkman Award, which will provide funding for their individual research projects. Dr. Lin, under the mentorship of David Solá-Del Valle, MD, and Milica Margeta, MD, PhD, will focus on discovering novel molecular markers of neurodegeneration in glaucoma. Dr. Harrison, also working with Dr. Margeta, will work to identify convergent mechanisms of neurodegeneration.
