#  Ophthalmology Trainees Receive Heed Fellowships

 Two current Harvard Ophthalmology/Mass Eye and Ear clinical trainees and two incoming Mass Eye and Ear clinical trainees were awarded Heed Fellowships for AY2023-24. This postgraduate fellowship is one of the most prestigious honors for trainees who are pursuing academic careers in ophthalmic patient care, education, and research. Congratulations to:

- David Doobin, MD, PhD, current first year itvreoretinal fellow at Mass Eye and Ear
- Jennifer C. Hu, MD, MS, current resident at Columbia University and incoming vitreoretinal fellow at Mass Eye and Ear
- Anthony Marte, MD, Current Resident at Montefiore Einstein and incoming glaucoma fellow at Mass Eye and Ear
- Luis A. Martinez-Velazquez, MD, PhD, current resident at Harvard Ophthalmology and incoming vitreoretinal fellow at Mass Eye and Ear
