 **[Qin Liu, MD, PhD](/qinliu)**, received a Sponsored Research Agreement award from Casebia Therapeutics in the amount of $721,702 over two years from her project, "Gene editing for autosomal dominant retinitis pigmentosa."

 **[Hajirah Saeed, MD](/hajirahsaeed)**, received a K23 grant from the National Institutes of Health in the estimated amount of $1,276,201 over 5 years for her project, "Identification of genetic polymorphisms in Stevens Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis."

 **[Lucy Shen, MD](/lucyshen)**, received a grant from Topcon Research Foundation in the amount of $29,825 over 3 years for her project, "Assessing Optic Nerve Changes Associated with Glaucomatous Paracentral Visual Field Loss with Swept-Source OCT and OCT Angiography."

 **[Brian Song, MD](/briansong)**, received a Young Clinician Scientist Award from the American Glaucoma Society in the amount of $40,000 over one year for his project, "Glaucoma detection in diabetes teleretinal programs."

 **[Deborah Vanderveen, MD](/deborahvanderveen)**, received a National Eye Institute grant for her U10-Cooperative Clinical Research, "Two-year follow up after treatment of severe retinopathy of prematurity." This is a collaborative project through the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group, and [Iason Mantagos, MD](/jasonmantagos), and [Carolyn Wu, MD](/carolynwu), are co-investigators on the project.
