#  Silas Wang, MD, Creates Custom Mass Eye and Ear Clock for Altschuler Training Laboratory

[Silas L. Wang, MD](/silaswang), Instructor in Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, has generously made a custom wall clock and donated it to the Samuel and Nancy Jo Altschuler Ophthalmology Surgical Training Laboratory. Dr. Wang engraved the historical Mass Eye and Ear logo on the clock to symbolize the importance of surgical training and of the time that our ophthalmology trainees spend honing their skills in the laboratory.  
   
Dr. Wang noted that teaching residents has been an important and meaningful part of his career here, and it is an honor to be able to contribute a small decorative and historical physical improvement to the laboratory. He uses a laser engraver to handcraft clocks as a personal hobby. Thank you Dr. Wang for your beautiful and thoughtful gift!
