**[Endowed chair](http://eye.hms.harvard.edu/professorships/)** established in honor of **[Evangelos S. Gragoudas, MD](http://eye.hms.harvard.edu/evangelosgragoudas)**, the **[Charles Edward Whitten Professor of Ophthalmology](http://eye.hms.harvard.edu/professorships/whitten)**. The professorship, named for Dr. Gragoudas' father and made possible by the Massachusetts Eye and Ear board of directors, will be renamed in Dr. Gragoudas' honor upon his retirement.
