The cause of the condition is unknown; however, substantial evidence suggests that vasculopathy plays a significant role in the genesis of the neurologic damage and facial lipodystrophy. Herein describes a case of Parry-Romberg syndrome treated with repetitive botulinum type A toxin injections, with almost complete resolution of severe chronic pain. %B Ophthalmic Plast Reconstr Surg %V 30 %P e22-5 %8 2014 Jan-Feb %G eng %N 1 %1 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23719195?dopt=Abstract %R 10.1097/IOP.0b013e31828de9c0
