Dr. Joshua Agranat graduated from Brandeis University in 2012 with his BS magna cum laude in Biology. While at Brandeis, he conducted research on the effect of graphic instructional aids on eye-drop compliance as a Unite for Sight Global Impact Fellow in Chennai, India. Dr. Agranat earned his MD at Boston University School of Medicine where he conducted research on the Boston Foundation for Sight’s PROSE treatment. In particular, his research focused on optical coherence tomography guided customization of the PROSE device and five year clinical outcomes of PROSE treatment. He has published multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts and textbook chapters and presented research at international conferences including the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Agranat has received several awards, including the Dr. George G. Katsas Award, the Edith G. Chess Scholarship in Ophthalmology, and the Lippincott Editorial AMSA Review Network Program Certificate of Achievement.
