Submit your abstract for the Poster Session by Friday, August 9, 2019 at 5 PM (EST). Accepted posters will be on display during Day 1 of the Conference. Winners will be announced at the end of Day 2.

Eligibility

  • Abstracts must be previously unpublished work at the time of submission and remain unpublished until after September 21, 2019.
  • An individual may be the first author of only one abstract; however, there is no limit to the number of times an individual may appear as a co-author on other abstracts
  • All submissions must be received by Friday, August 9, 2019 at 5 PM (EST).

Abstract Format

Follow the 2019 ARVO Annual Meeting Abstract Policies and Procedures. In particular:

  • Include the name and institutional affiliations of all authors; in addition, the first author should include his/her email address for correspondence
  • The abstract should contain four headings: Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusions
  • There is a 2,500 character limit (including spaces) for title and abstract body text.

Note: Acceptance to the Poster Session does not register you for the conference.

Two winners will be selected and notified by August 23, 2019. The awards, $500 (each), will be handed out at the end of the 2nd day of the conference.

Eligibility

Postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty members (no more than five years of past training) who are engaged in cornea research can apply for travel awards.

Submit your current CV and a short paragraph detailing how the knowledge gained at the 31st Biennial Cornea Conference will strengthen their research and/or research program.
