Introducing the 2025 Research Scholars

After receiving a record number of applications, we will be welcoming nine 2025 Research Scholars later this month.

The Harvard Ophthalmology Research Scholars Program, led by Joe Arboleda, MD, PhD, and Silas Wang, MD, offers rising second- and third-year medical students an immersive eight-week experience at Mass Eye and Ear to help them build a competitive application for ophthalmology residency. Scholars are paired with a scientist, clinician, and resident to learn about research, shadow in clinical care, and participate in career coaching, community building activities, and face-to-face networking with faculty.
