Yi Ni Toh, PhD, Recognized with the Envision-Atwell Award

Yi Ni Toh, PhD, a postdoctoral research fellow in the laboratory of Alex Bowers at Schepens Eye Research Institute of Mass Eye and Ear, received this award for her poster, "BEEP! A Novel Head-Scanning Training Program Improves Blind-Side Detection in Drivers with Hemianopia" which she presented at the 2025 Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) Annual Meeting last month.

The award, originally named the Atwell Award in honor of long-time low vision research supporter Constance Atwell, is given to an ARVO presenter who is a junior investigator focused on low vision research.
