Nandini Venkateswaran, MD, Honored at Indian Intraocular Implant and Refractive Surgery Convention

Nandini Venkateswaran, MD, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, was an invited speaker at the Indian Intraocular Implant and Refractive Surgery Convention, taking place in Chennai, India earlier this month, where she gave five educational lectures on a range of topics including advances in dry eye therapeutics, how to handle SMILE surgery complications, and the importance of optimizing the ocular surface prior to cataract surgery. Dr. Venkateswaran was also presented with a gold medal and award of excellence for her contributions to the field of ophthalmology.
