David Hunter, MD, PhD, Begins Term as President of AAPOS
In July, David Hunter, MD, PhD, Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, began his one-year term as president of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS). The organization's goals are to advance the quality of children's eye care, support the training of pediatric ophthalmologists, support research activities in pediatric ophthalmology, and advance the care of adults with strabismus.
A globally recognized leader in pediatric eye care an active member of AAPOS, Dr. Hunter has made groundbreaking contributions to the diagnosis and treatment of strabismus and amblyopia, and has long championed the advancement of pediatric vision science.
