AAPOS 2026 Annual Meeting

Harvard Ophthalmology was well-represented at the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS) annual meeting, held in Boston last month. David Hunter, MD, PhD, in his capacity of President of AAPOS, helped to plan and host the meeting. Several other Boston Children's Hospital and Mass Eye and Ear faculty members participated, including Linda Dagi, MD; Lotfi Merabet, OD, PhD, MPH; Bharti Gangwani, MD; Deborah VanderVeen, MD; Eric Gaier, MD, PhD; Ryan Gise, MD; Gena Heidary, MD, PhD; Efren Gonzalez, MD; Ankoor Shah, MD, PhD; and Mary Whitman, MD, PhD. We're also incredibly proud of our trainees, with nearly 20 residents and fellows from across the department presenting research posters.
