Joshua Ong, MD, Named Abelson Family Fellow

Joshua Ong, MD, a cornea and refractive surgery fellow at Mass Eye and Ear, has been selected as the Abelson Family Fellow for the 2026-2027 academic year. This fellowship, established by Mark Abelson, MD, an alumnus and former faculty member, and the Abelson family, supports individuals engaged in clinical and translational research projects, assisting early-career clinicians and scientists in advancing their academic careers in medicine while exploring innovative approaches to prevent, treat, and cure diseases.
