Friedman Lecture Group Photo

Harvard Ophthalmology hosted its 6th Biennial Symposium on AMD last week at Mass Eye and Ear. The two-day event—attended by more than 190 people—featured the Ephraim Friedman Lecture, presented by Cathy Bowes Rickman, PhD, Professor of Ophthalmology and Cell Biology at Duke University School of Medicine, along with nearly 20 presentations, six panel discussions, and a reception and gala dinner at The Liberty Hotel.

Dagmar Friedman, Dr. Ephraim Friedman’s widow, and members of the Friedman family joined us for Dr. Bowes Rickman’s presentation and the gala dinner to celebrate the Friedman Lecture.

Congratulations to our travel award winners who presented their research posters at the reception.
