Congratulations to Lotfi Merabet, OD, PhD, MPH!

On October 24, the department celebrated Lotfi Merabet, OD, PhD, MPH, who was recently appointed the inaugural Frederick and Thaddeus Jakobiec Chair in Ophthalmology at Mass Eye and Ear.

The event, held at The Newbury Hotel, featured remarks from Department Chair Joan Miller, MD; Mass Eye and Ear President CarolAnn Williams, and Gena Heidary, MD, PhD, Director of the Neuro-Ophthalmology Service at Boston Children's Hospital. Colleagues, friends, and family, including Dr. Merabet's wife, Reema, attended the celebration.
