Congratulations to Ula Jurkunas, MD!

On December 19, the department celebrated Ula Jurkunas, MD, who was recently promoted to Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School.

The event, held at the Harvard Faculty Club, featured remarks from Department Chair Joan W. Miller, MD; Reza Dana, MD, MSc, MPH, Director of the Mass Eye and Ear Cornea Service; and Mark Rosenblatt, MD, PhD, MBA, MHA, the G. Stephen Irwin Executive Dean at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Colleagues, friends, and family, including Dr. Jurkunas' husband, Andrius; their three children, Mia, Thomas, and Sofia; and Dr. Jurkunas' mother Loretta, attended the celebration.
