Cris Jacoba, MD, the Chief Retina Fellow at Beetham Eye Institute at Joslin Diabetes Center, has been selected by the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) EyeWiki Committee as a representative to participate in the Academy's Advocacy Ambassador Program. The program provides residents and fellows an opportunity to participate in the annual Mid-Year Forum, a U.S. policy and advocacy event designed to provide opportunities to directly advocate for ophthalmology.Dr. Jacoba was also one of four winners of the 2022 AAO EyeWiki® Resident and Fellows-in-Training contest for his contributing article on Diabetic Macular Edema.
