David S. Walton, MD, Professor of Ophthalmology, Part-time, at Harvard Medical School, is the recipient of the Children’s Eye Foundation of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS) 2025 Parks Bronze Medal. This recognition is a testament to Dr. Walton's remarkable contributions to the field of pediatric ophthalmology, particularly in the treatment of pediatric glaucoma. Dr. Walton was a trainee of glaucoma pioneer W. Morton Grant, MD. He is a past president of the Chandler Grant Society and has served as president of the Children’s Glaucoma Foundation for 25 years.Dr. Walton's portrait and biographical sketch will be featured in the Children's Eye Foundation Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Hall of Fame. He will also be formally recognized at the 2025 AAPOS Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City in March.
