Elizabeth Rossin, MD, PhD, Named a STAT Wunderkind

This award recognizes 28 young scientists and clinicians who are already doing groundbreaking work and are blazing new trails as they attempt to answer some of the biggest questions in science and medicine.

A talented clinician and researcher, Dr. Rossin was selected for the prestigious K12 Harvard-Vision Clinical Scientist Training Program. Her past research focused on structure-based network analysis to better understand how viruses like HIV mutate. This work has now been applied to design an HIV vaccine and a broadly protective COVID-19 vaccine. Dr. Rossin's current research is focused on the genetics of central serous chorioretinopathy and choroidal vasculature.
