Faculty, Trainees, and Staff Volunteer at Eye, Ear, and Eat Community Health Screening Event

In partnership with the Roxbury Tenants of Harvard, Mass Eye and Ear recently held its third “Eye, Ear, Eat” event at its Longwood location. The event offered free vision, hearing, and head and neck screenings, access to financial counselors, and education on healthcare delivery options to more than 100 Mission Hill residents. These community health screening events are critical to overall health and several patients had previously undiagnosed health conditions and were immediately scheduled for follow up care. Thank you to all of our ophthalmology faculty, trainees, and staff who volunteered their time.
