At the alumni luncheon of the Society of Heed Fellows—held during the Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Ophthalmology—three former faculty and alumni were recognized with the prestigious Heed-Gutman Award: Alumnus and former faculty member Anthony Adamis, MD (2020); former faculty member James Chodosh, MD, MPH (2021); and alumnus Eduardo Alfonso, MD (2022).
Mark W. Johnson, MD, Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Michigan, was also honored with a 2022 Heed-Gutman Award. Dr. Johnson will join us on December 8 as the Paul A. Chandler Visiting Professor lecturer at Mass Eye and Ear.
