Grayson Armstrong, MD, MPH, Receives Innovation & Scientific Contribution Award

Grayson ArmstrongGrayson Armstrong, MD, MPH, Instructor in Ophthalmology and Associate Director of Medical Student Education at Harvard Medical School, has been recognized with the Incredible Innovation & Scientific Contribution Award from The Real World Ophthalmology, an educational resource dedicated to helping young ophthalmologists succeed in early practice. This award is given to a young ophthalmologist who has contributed to improvements in the field with new innovations.

Dr. Armstrong has fostered an interest in ophthalmic telemedicine, healthcare technology innovation, and entrepreneurship since medical school. His research focuses on instituting teleophthalmology at Mass Eye and Ear and other hospitals and developing novel teleophthalmic models of care and using artificial intelligence to improve access to eye care.
