Hamid Alemi, MD, MPH, a postdoctoral research fellow at Schepens Eye Research Institute of Mass Eye and Ear, was recognized with the Best Paper Session Award at the 2022 Cornea and Eye Banking Forum in Chicago. Dr. Alemi, a member of Dr. Reza Dana’s Laboratory, received the award for his paper, “Efficacy of alpha melanocyte stimulating hormone in suppressing corneal edema following injury.”
