Jason Comander, MD, PhD, received a Foundation Fighting Blindness Enhanced Career Development Award in the amount of $510,000 over three years.

Meredith Gregory-Ksander, PhD, received a grant from ONL Therapeutics in the amount of $59,739 over one year to determine whether treatment with a Fas inhibitor can prevent neuroinflammation and the death of RCGs in a mouse model of glaucoma.

George Papaliodis, MD, received a grant from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the amount of $98,790 over four years for his project, "Macular Edema Treatment Trials Associated with MUST."

Luk Vandenberghe, MD, PhD, received a grant from the ML4 Foundation in the amount of $18,400 over one year for his project, "Gene therapy approach to treat eye disease in mucolipidosis IV."

Janey Wiggs, MD, PhDwill present the W. Morton Grant MD Visiting Professor Lecture, "Genetics in the Glaucoma Clinic", at the Resident and Fellow Graduation Ceremonies of the New England Eye Center, Tufts Medical Center, Tufts University School of Medicine, on June 24, 2016.
