Lisa Cowan's, MD, PhD, paper, "Introducing a new surgical technology: Controversies in femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery and impact on resident surgical training," published in the Fall 2015 issue of International Ophthalmology Clinics, was one of the top 10 articles read in 2015 in ophthalmology. These statistics were published by Medscape. Lisa is an HMS Ophthalmology resident.
Louis Pasquale, MD, gave the 39th Annual Edmund B. Spaeth Oration at the Philadelphia College of Physicians on January 14th, 2016. His lecture was titled, "Meet patients XX AND XY: Products of their genes and environment."
