The free, full-text of the 2015 Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO)/Champalimaud Award Lecture, “VEGF: From Discovery to Therapy,” is now available online. Joan W. Miller, MD, the Henry Willard Williams Professor and Chair of HMS Ophthalmology, presented this lecture at the 2015 ARVO Annual Meeting, and the lecture was subsequently published on March 11, 2016 in Translational Vision Science & Technology. Dr. Miller was one of six HMS researchers who received the 2014 António Champalimaud Vision Award, the highest distinction in ophthalmology and visual science. This award was given for the development of anti-angiogenic therapy for retinal disease.
