Leo Kim, MD, PhD, and John Miller, MD, to Participate in Course that Fosters Collaboration Between Academia and Industry

Leo Kim, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and the Monte J. Wallace Ophthalmology Chair in Retina at Mass Eye and Ear, and John Miller, MD, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at HMS and Director of Retinal Imaging at Mass Eye and Ear, were selected to participate in the Bridging Academia with Industry Translational Research Training Program at Mass General Research Institute. The program connects scientists and clinicians from Massachusetts General Hospital to their colleagues in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and venture capital industry, with the goal of translating promising research discoveries into new diagnostics and treatments for patients.
