Lloyd Paul Aiello, MD, PhD, Elected to Association of American Physicians

Lloyd Paul Aiello, MD, PhD, Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Beetham Eye Institute at Joslin Diabetes Center, has been elected to the Association of American Physicians (AAP), an honorary medical society founded in 1885 by Sir William Osler and six other distinguished physicians of his era for “the advancement of scientific and practical medicine.” Election to the AAP is an honor extended to physicians with outstanding credentials in basic or translational biomedical research. Dr. Aiello will attend the AAP Dinner and New Member Induction Ceremony next month in Chicago.
