Lotfi Merabet, OD, PhD, MPH, Recognized with HMS Community Service Award

Lotfi Merabet, OD, PhD, MPH, Association Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and a clinician scientist at Mass Eye and Ear, was selected to receive the Dean’s Community Service Faculty Award from HMS for his service to the Cortical/Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI) Center and CVI Now of the Perkins School for the Blind. Dr. Merabet serves on the Education and CVI Steering Committees of the Perkins School for the Blind.

Established in 1999, this service award recognizes individuals whose dedication and commitment to community service have made a positive impact on the local, national, or international community. HMS will donate $1,000 to the Perkins School for the Blind on Dr.  Merabet's behalf.
