Congratulations to Lucia Sobrin, MD, MPH, director of the Morse Laser Center at Mass. Eye and Ear, on receiving the inaugural Harvard Ophthalmology Excellence in Mentoring Award. The Harvard Ophthalmology Mentoring program was created in 2014 to help direct and support junior faculty members and create a culture of achievement.
Selected by Harvard Ophthalmology’s five-person Mentoring Oversight Board, Dr. Sobrin has provided unwavering support to her mentees, working to ensure that they succeed and thrive within the department and have the opportunities and encouragement they need to grow their careers.
