Nandini Venkateswaran, MD, an Instructor in Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, and Ines Lains, MD, MSc, PhD, a first year vitreoretinal clinical fellow at Mass Eye and Ear, are featured in Ophthalmology Management’s inaugural 40 Under 40 list as rising stars in the field. The list highlights the next generation of leading ophthalmologists that are achieving excellence in clinical care, research, innovation, leadership, teaching, entrepreneurship, academics, and global health.
More than 100 nominations were submitted, and a 14-person committee selected the final top 40. Drs. Venkateswaran and Lains were honored at a special 40 Under 40 event last month at the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meeting in Chicago.
