Zhengping Hu, MD, PhD, and Daisy Shu, PhD, both postdoctoral research fellows at Schepens Eye Research Institute of Mass Eye and Ear, recently received awards from the American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP).
Dr. Hu was recognized with the Monga-Hans Trainee Scholar Award for Excellence in Cardiovascular Research, and Dr. Shu was honored with the Experimental Pathologist-in Training Award, presented to an ASIP Post-Doctoral Trainee member who has excelled in investigative efforts in studying the mechanisms of disease.
