Dr. Gai left the department in July 2015 for Children's Hospital Los Angeles. He joined the department in January 2014 as Director of the Mass. Eye and Ear Bioinformatics Center and Associate Director of the Ocular Genomics Institute for Harvard Ophthalmology. During his tenure here, Xiaowu has continued to develop and apply bioinformatic tools for the analysis of genomic data such as whole exome sequence data.
