Dr. Zebardast Receives MAPS Award from AGS

Nazlee Zebardast, MD, MSc, has been selected to receive the Mentoring for Advancement of Physicians-Scientists (MAPS) Award by the American Glaucoma Society (AGS). The award, presented to clinicians at the early stages of their academic careers to facilitate their glaucoma research, will provide $10,000 over 1 year.  

Dr. Zebardast is a Harvard Medical School Instructor in Ophthalmology and a member of the Glaucoma Service at Mass. Eye and Ear. Her clinical research focuses on understanding progression in eyes with angle-closure glaucoma.  

AGS members are dedicated to improving the lives of people with glaucoma by advancing knowledge and care through education, research, advocacy, and leadership.
