Grayson Armstrong, MD, MPH, Instructor in Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, will receive the 2023 Artemis Award at the Young Ophthalmologist Program held in conjunction with the Academy’s Annual Meeting next month. This award recognizes a junior ophthalmologist who has demonstrated exceptional caring and service to their patients.
Dr. Armstrong is deeply committed to improving health policy and public health and is primarily focusing on issues affecting patients’ access to care. He is currently the President of the Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, represents the American Academy of Ophthalmology in the American Medical Association House of Delegates, serves on multiple Massachusetts Medical Society committees, and has previously served as a member of the American Medical Association’s Board of Trustees.
