Stories of Patients With Strabismus

April 16, 2018
Recently released, a short video shares the journey of a series of Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) patients who were kind enough to allow us to tell their story.

David Hunter, MD, PhD, Ophthalmologist-in-Chief at BCH, noticed a few years ago that many adults with strabismus (eye misalignment) are unaware that their condition can be treated with surgery. In this video, you'll follow the personal journey of six patients to learn about the availability of treatments for this condition, regardless of age. It was directed and edited by Bernard Dib, MD, an ophthalmology resident at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
